London | 14 August 2026: In a proud celebration of Seva, leadership and dedication to Sanatan Dharma, distinguished leaders who have devoted themselves to serving and strengthening the Hindu community were honoured at the prestigious Sant Sansad – Parliament of Saints, organised by the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre UK as part of its 25th Silver Jubilee celebrations.

Among the prominent dignitaries present was Bob Blackman MP, a longstanding friend and supporter of the British Hindu community. He praised the community for its significant contribution to British society and acknowledged the importance of its cultural values, community service and positive engagement across the country.
The awards recognised individuals whose sustained community service, leadership and commitment have made a meaningful contribution to British Hindus, while helping preserve Hindu values, strengthen community institutions and promote unity and collaboration, with a powerful message of “Unity in Diversity.”
Among those honoured, Prince Lumb, Secretary of Ilford Hindu Centre – World Council of Hindus UK (WCH UK), received the special “Global Peace Award” in recognition of his outstanding service, leadership and contribution to the Hindu community in Britain.
The recognition reflects the growing importance of grassroots leadership in preserving Sanatan Dharma, Hindu culture and values while encouraging the Hindu community to participate positively and confidently in wider British society.
Speaking on the honour, Prince Lumb said:
“I am deeply humbled to receive this recognition at Sant Sansad in the presence of respected saints and spiritual leaders, specially HH Sh Rajrajeshwar Guru ji. I accept it not simply as a personal award, but as recognition of the collective seva being undertaken by our volunteers, committee members and the wid Hindu community. It further strengthens my commitment to serve, unite and empower British Hindus.”
Through his role as Secretary of Ilford Hindu Centre – World Council of Hindus UK, Prince Lumb has been actively involved in community programmes, Hindu cultural and religious activities, organisational collaboration and initiatives aimed at strengthening the voice and participation of Hindus across Britain.
The Sant Sansad on 14 August 2026 was particularly significant as it formed part of the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre’s milestone celebration of 25 years of spiritual and community service in the United Kingdom.
The honour serves as both a recognition of service already undertaken and an encouragement to continue working towards a stronger, more connected and united Hindu community.
