UK India Future Forum launched in Parliament as Foreign Secretary James Cleverly hails ‘incredibly important’ partnership

India Global Forum (IGF) kicked off 2023 with its annual UK-India Parliamentary Lunch. The event took place in the House of Lords on January 25th. UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly was in attendance as a special guest.

The Lunch was co-hosted by His Excellency Vikram Doraiswami, the High Commissioner of India to the UK and Lord Jitesh Gadhia, and sponsored by Tata Group and Standard Chartered.

This event marked the beginning of yet another exciting year with the launch of the UK India Future Forum (UKIFF). The initiative aims to aid trade and investment flow between countries by connecting policymakers and business leaders.

IGF also unveiled the agenda for its annual UK-India Week 2023, “Leading with Purpose.” The week-long event will take place from June 26 – 30, in London and Windsor. India Global Forum will also host the annual UK-India Awards on June 29, a glittering celebration of the best of the UK-India partnership.

  1. Great step ahead the next agenda for this forum should be surely represent the views of the diaspora as regards their utter disgust towards BBC in propagation of anti India sentiments
