Kapil Sharma and his team at The Kapil Sharma Show finally resumed shoot on Saturday after 125 days while complying with the Maharashtra government’s SOPs. On Saturday, the comedian shared a video of his colleagues, Bharti Singh and Sumona Chakravarti, being sanitised before entering the sets of the show.
In the video, both of them can be seen wearing face masks. First to enter the sanitising zone was Sumona, followed by Bharti, who also did a short dance while getting sanitised. Their temperature and oxygen content in the body were also checked. Bharti also mentioned that her oxygen count is 94.
Even as re-runs of the show continued to entertain the audience amid the coronavirus-induced lockdown, the audience has been missing their weekly dose of laughter.

A source close had earlier informed that the Bharti Singh, Sumona Chakravarti get sanitised before entering the sets of The Kapil Sharma Showipts and gags for multiple episodes have been locked and the entire team of artistes, including Kapil, Krushna Abhishek, Bharti, Chandan, Sumona and Kiku Sharda, have been rehearsing through video conferencing.
Sonu Sood, who has been helping migrant workers reach their home towns amid the lockdown, will also be one of the first guests of the show.
However, there will be a few changes in the format of the show. Unlike before, there will be no live audience since it’s essential to maintain social distancing norms. Instead, the team is exploring a new segment and will be working with a limited crew. (Mumbai Mirror)
