The human body renounces attachment by mind, intellect and senses and performs deeds for self-purification.

Rajasthan Association UK #RAUK has done very much same during this pandemic #COVID19 situation in the last few weeks.

The act of virtue of Rajasthan Association UK includes #NishkamBhav seva of stranded people (be it Indian students, elderly people of Corona infected families or old age homes) by supplying them food, accommodation and grocery bags.

Recently British Government announced some relaxation in lockdown which is part of many phases of the road map laid down by the government to lift the lockdown. It has been nearly 7 weeks of lockdown.

As always Rajasthan association UK thought to bring more positivity and energy with motivation among the Rajasthani Diaspora and organized “MirchiBada Fest“.

MirchiBada Fest was a way to say thanks and appreciate the efforts of each individual, family or  institute who have directly/indirectly helpful to RAUK in this pandemic to support the motive of togetherness either by giving financial support to prepare food or grocery bags or donation required food items to serve the needy.

The initiative of MirchiBada Fest demonstrated high levels of positivity and togetherness, the MirchiBada boxes of happiness and love were prepared in house in a pure and hygienic atmosphere and RAUK was live with this on our facebook page.

The name of Rajasthan itself brings a glow and happiness feel to the faces and one can only imagine how much excitement and enthusiasm taste of Rajasthan can bring, Rajasthan Association UK made it possible and 4500 miles away from Rajasthan experienced it on hundreds of faces through this MirchiBada Fest and gave an opportunity to get rid of Covid19 thoughts.

Rajasthan-2

This is to share that as soon as Rajasthan Association UK posted about this “Mirchibada Fest” on Facebook page, all the Rajasthani families got tremendous enthusiasm which is very much evident with the registration we have received from Rajasthani families for the fest.

We were flooded with the volunteers to help in the MirchiBada Fest and everyone’s engagement and enthusiasm was noticed for e.g. few volunteers went to shop MIRCHI at 2 o’clock in the night to the international market which opens in the early hours of the morning. This is all to give the same taste of Jodhpur’s MirchiBada. Many people from Rajasthan are here in the food industry and another volunteer group of chefs which includes Chef Raviji, Chef Anandji, Chef Premji, Chef Rajivji and Narendra was ready following the Mirchi shopping and not to mention it was all with the required protective gears. They have done tremendous work by making all the items including sweet as when it comes to Rajasthan nothing is complete without sweet.
