OFBJP UK chapter has organised UKRun4Modi in central London to celebrate the glorious five years of Narendra Modi’s government and to salute the gold standard of governance in India, and to extend support for the Lok Sabha election 2019, “Abki Bar 400 Par”.

Anyone who delights reading about India and its politics will always remember great reception in Wembley stadium in 2015 when Narendra Modi our most popular PM visited the UK for the first time after swearing in and was welcomed by around 60 thousand NRIs in front of Mr. David Cameron, the then Prime Minister of UK. Indian’s settled in the United Kingdom took another opportunity to come together as a harmonious and progressive community to celebrate the new era of good governance in India.

The event was also supported by UK4MODI2019 campaign. The event saw an overwhelming gathering of approx. 400+ people running for about 5 Km each to collectively achieve the 2000Km run. The event started from the Westminster bridge up to Tower Bridge, London. The event flag off was done by veteran NRI’s Dr. Anand Arya, Shashikant Patel and Bharat Shah. They collectively applaud the effort of the runners and urged the people back at home to give the strong mandate to BJP for “Abki Baar 400 Paar”. The event concluded at about 3:00 PM at Tower bridge with an address by OFBJP UK president Kuldeep Shekhawat and OFBJP UK office bearers Dr. Anand Arya and Suresh Mangalagiri.

The event has seen an enormously positive response in the entire Indian community. The volunteers of OFBJP and Modi4UK2019 team extend the cordial wishes for the bigger festival of democracy in the World, the Indian general elections of 2019. We hope each and every eligible voter will perform their duty and cast their vote to fulfil their obligation towards the nation building.

  1. We British Indians should be proud to have pulled of this event in London to salute our beloved PM Modiji. Never before since the Independence an Indian leader has attracted such adulation and wide publicity abroad. I am sure if the NRIs could vote he will get full endorsement. The event flies in the face of thos Khalistanis and their friends in the neighbour country who got good hiding after conspiring to kill our jawans in Kashmir that today’s Indians are not going to seat quiet. They are able to show peacefully how to take positive action against the architects of terrorism and showing thier whole hearted support for Mr Modi
