High Commissioner Mr. Y.K. Sinha and Mrs. Girija Sinha hosted a reception for the Indian Women’s Cricket team at India House yesterday.
High Commissioner congratulated the team for its stellar performance in World Cup 2017 and lauded its members as role models for generations of sports persons in India. He said that the team had given Women’s Cricket the much needed and long deserved recognition in the world of cricket and wished them the best for the future.
