Institute of Directors, India is hosting a series of special Virtual Sessions – the ‘Directors’ Dialogue’ over the next one year to discuss the future direction for Sustainability amid Pandemic in various key sectors. The earlier edition was held on the Oil & Gas sector and it was hugely successful.
India’s renewable energy sector is the fourth most attractive renewable energy market in the world. India is ranked fourth in wind power, fifth in solar power and fifth in renewable power installed capacity as of 2018.
In its next edition, our special focus is on ‘Power and New & Renewable Energy Sector’, with the theme – “Accelerating Sustainable Energy Transitions: Directors’ Strategy & Directions”, on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 1500-1730 hrs IST, to deliberate on the current scenario in the sector and also to provide an overview of an assessment of the impact of Covid-19, to draw a new roadmap how to become leaders in the sector, in the post-pandemic era.
