With less than a month to go before its theatrical release, Junglee Pictures has unveiled the intense Faceoff Poster of its upcoming courtroom drama HAQ, featuring Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi in a gripping ideological standoff.

The striking new poster captures the raw confrontation between two opposing forces — belief and justice — setting the tone for what promises to be one of the year’s most compelling and socially resonant dramas. HAQ delves into the clash between personal faith and constitutional law, asking the powerful question: Kaum ya Kanoon?

Directed by Suparn S Varma and written by Reshu Nath, HAQ is inspired by the landmark Supreme Court judgement of Mohd. Ahmed Khan vs. Shah Bano Begum and presents a fictionalized interpretation of events based on ‘Bano: Bharat Ki Beti’ by Jigna Vora.

With commanding performances from Yami Gautam Dhar and Emraan Hashmi, the film is a timely and gripping courtroom drama that captures the storm between belief systems and the justice framework. Also featuring Sheeba Chadha, Danish Hussain, Vartika Singh, and Aseem Hattangady, HAQ is a bold exploration of one woman’s fight for her rights and dignity.

Produced by Junglee Pictures, in association with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios, HAQ releases in theatres on 7 November 2025.

  1. I am glad that Bollywood has at last addressed the mainstream issue going through an average but not pseudo secular Indian citizen- why should certain religion in a democratic country with written constitution and rule of law consider their religion above the rights of the others? Certainly the one to watch and once again Thanks Eshadoot to bring this to our attention
