When India proved its prowess by landing on the Moon, IIW decided to get the shining stars on the Earth and indeed at the historic Indian Gymkhana Club Osterley, they were all jubilant, shining and brimming with passion.

By Breaking all the taboos of society all around world women have already been creating new history and relentlessly proving that there is not a thing a woman can’t do. Fitness, Social interactions in the name of practice and sporting spirit as well as break the stereotype of cricket being a Gentleman’s Game were few purposes of the Tournament. Many ladies want to break the monotony of life by being part of something fun and competitive rather than the usual work, home and parties.

Ladies preferably non-professionals, home makers, lost touch with the popular sports excitedly started forming teams as soon as we announced.

A great step towards encouraging women to move towards physically fit and inspiring society for our new generation. A strong, happy woman in family helps in harmony in society and nation.

It was a nail-biting finish at the end as runner up team Legendry London made it tough for Kent knockers to reach to the comprehensive victory.
