Post COVID-19 Pandemic, the landscape for business organisations and the professions sector, will change from how we know it.
There will be a need for people to switch to a “New Lifestyle” so as to adapt and extended the fight against COVID-19, in order that gradual resumption of economic activities can resume.
But how long will it take and therefore in the short term, we are going see the adaptation of a NEW NORM taking place. What will this mean for your business or indeed your profession?

Baroness Ruby McGregor-Smith Former CEO (first Asian lady to have held the position of a footsie 100 & 250 company) Mitie Group Plc. She also currently holds the position as the President of the British Chamber of Commerce amongst other roles.
In the wake of COVID 19, they have both been appointed to be part of the newly formed Business Action Council (BAC) – a coalition that will streamline the voices of more than 500,000 businesses across every sector and region within the United Kingdom, through numerous organisations including CBI, FSB, IOD, and many more; as a result of the Prime Minister’s call to build the biggest possible consensus from business in its response to the Corona Virus Pandemic. The formation of BAC marks the first occasion that business organisations have joined together at such a scale in the spirit of collective action to work together over the coming months, to develop bold and imaginative solutions necessary to help the UK recover as quickly as possible.
The live conversation presented on the evening of Thursday 21st May was tabled for an hour, but ended up being extremely engaging, thereby having to extend it by an additional 30 mins, as 100’s joined to get a steer and ask questions across all aspects of business and the professions.
