Over 10 lakh students in UP, appeared in a general knowledge examination on topics related to RSS and BJP ideologues and initiatives taken by Narendra Modi government to mark the birth centenary year of Deendayal Upadhyaya.

Organised by ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Janm Shatabdi Samaroh Samiti’ comprising BJP members, the exam was held for Class IX and X students, and had total 100 questions which were to be answered within 90 minutes.

Subhash Yaduvansh, BJP state secretary and in-charge of the examination, said there were around 12.5 lakh student registrations in the state out of which around 10 lakh appeared in the exam from nearly 11,000 schools at 9,500 centers across the state.

“The exam could not be conducted in eight districts each from eastern and western UP due to flood and imposition of Section 144 after violence due to conviction of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, respectively,” he said, adding that now the exam in these districts would be conducted on September 7 with an alternate paper, and the result which was earlier to be declared on September 5 has been postponed to September 15.

Other topics covered in the examination were from Indian mythology, Indian Constitution, history, geography and on personalities like Deendayal Upadhyaya, Lal Bahadur Shashtri, M M Malviya, B R Ambedkar and Subash Chandra Bose.

The questions included — which scheme was launched by the central government to make India an electronic economy? Where is the only temple of Lord Brahma situated? Name the pilgrimage where an ice Shivling is formed every year. Name the great personality who established RSS. When was RSS established?

“There are volunteer teachers in every district who will check the answer sheets manually without any payment,” BJP state secretary Yaduvansh added. “On September 25, the top ten students of every district will be given medals and all students with more than 60 per cent marks will get certificates,” Chandra Mohan, member of the samiti, said.

  1. It is high time Indian students are taught real history, told the truth how and why India was enslaved for over one thousand years, when the country is so rich, powerful and capable of thwarting any foreign aggression. Unfortunately we are so scared to call spade a spade. This slavery could be attributed to our own fifth columnist like Mansinh, Jaichand and many more who stabbed our loyal, patriotic kings like Maha Rana Pratap, Shivaji and many more. This culture still prevails in India, as uneducated foreign lady with no attachment to Bharat except by marriage, no understanding of our culture is allowed to control once a mighty Congress Party, now all but wiped out. Yet the family is not willing to give up power and ordinary members obeys her like servants.Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise for BJP.

  2. well said, bhupendraji.
I think it is the first time such an examination has been conducted.
Hats off to the organisers and brains behind this scheme.

  3. Many young men and women are brain washed by the congress party from the time of Independence through the medium of education feeding our youngsters with false history glorifying Muslim Mogul kings and the British as the saviours of Bharat(India) conveniently shutting out the history of our Vedic past and our glorious Kings and Queens who ruled before the arrival of the Muslims and Christians.By right history should contain the atrocities and genocide committed against Hindus the Vedic people by these people of the two sects namely the Muslims and Christians but this infos are missing from school curriculum’s history lesson. Our current generation grew up believing what they learned and are against us the Vedic people hence they unwittingly supporting these anti-Hindu people who have poisoned their minds. Our children don’t know these two religions Islam and Christianity are foreign religion bent on converting all Vedic Mahans that is we Hindus to their religion with all kinds of lies. Every effort needs to be done to revert this current generation towards our Vedic culture inculcating in them the Vedic knowledge which is very urgent.
Even at this moment, our Hindu leaders are not committed to declaring this nation a Vedic nation belonging to the Hindu the Vedic natives.

  4. As a keen supporter of Narinder Modi and the ideology he represents, I still feel that the BJP Govt. in the Centre, should think very wisely on such matters. They should have gone slow on these topics at least for the first five years of their rule. The cow vigilantes and irresponsible statements from their MPs Sakshi Maharaj and some Sadhvies are doing great harm to their cause. The Congress and it cronies are making best use of such things for their own political benefit. They should first prepare ground so that their ideology of true nationalism is acceptable to masses of India. Hindutva is a keyword used by the Congress and the Communist Party to spread anti BJP propaganda.
