London, 19 September – The Overseas Friends of BJP UK (OFBJP UK), with the kind support of the Nagrecha Charitable Trust, organised a grand celebration of the 75th birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at the Nagrecha Charitable Trust Hall, Leyton, East London. The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with more than 500 proud members of the Indian diaspora joining together to celebrate, pray, and extend heartfelt wishes for the Prime Minister’s long, healthy, and safe life.
The celebration was led by OFBJP UK President Shri Kuldeep Shikhawat , General Secretary Shri Suresh Mangalgiri , and Vice-President/Treasurer Shri Shashikantbhai Patel . Their inspiring leadership and vision were brought to life by dedicated karyakartas, with the youth wing decorating the venue with images of Shri Modi Ji, filling the hall with pride and devotion.
The evening began with soulful Hindi songs of national pride, followed by prayers for Shri Modi Ji’s health and the singing of the National Anthem. The cultural program featured patriotic songs, traditional dances, and heartfelt recitations that celebrated India’s rich heritage. A special cake-cutting ceremony in honour of Shri Modi Ji further heightened the spirit of unity and devotion. Guests were also treated to a sumptuous vegetarian feast, symbolising togetherness and community spirit.
In his address, Shri Kuldeep Shikhawat reflected on the Prime Minister’s historic achievements, from India’s space milestones like Chandrayaan to transformative reforms such as Digital India, Make in India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat. He also highlighted Modi Ji’s tireless dedication to India’s progress, national security, infrastructure expansion, renewable energy, and India’s rising global stature through initiatives like the G20 Presidency.
“This celebration is not only about the birthday of our beloved Prime Minister, but also about honouring the new spirit of India he has ignited. Wherever we are in the world, we stand united in our love for Bharat and in our commitment to its progress. Bharat Mata Ki Jai!” he said.
The event also drew participation from local community leaders, councillors, and well-wishers, whose messages of solidarity and inspiration added to the evening’s emotional spirit. Attendees expressed gratitude to Shri Shashikantbhai Patel and the Nagrecha Trust team for their warm support and hospitality, ensuring that every detail of the evening reflected pride, devotion, and unity.
The celebrations concluded with a collective prayer for Prime Minister Modi Ji’s long life, good health, and continued leadership. From Bharat to every corner of the globe, the message from East London resonated clearly: a united voice of love, respect, and best wishes for Shri Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday.
