Your Election Your Right

Whilst the British media who have lazy habit of churning out copious rims of headline news be it Gulf War, ISIS, Coronavirus and now Ukraine to keep public focus away from local elections on 5th May 2022 we at Eshadoot would like to bring to fore real issues affecting our community and how to avert them by voting tactfully and for the right party to make a change where you live

-Are those in power voted in because of a herd / religious mentality?

-Do unexplained postal votes or unidentified voters rushing in just before the voting booths are closing play a part in their winning

-Are communities not belonging to that major ghetto locations unfairly treated, e.g., closure of Upton Centre in Forest Gate for over 6 years and no decent facilities for the Hindus out of some 26 similar centres in Newham catering for others

-Why are public parks used for congregation and celebration of festivals and who pays for them

-Why are traffic cameras used for tiniest of misdemeanours of unsuspecting hard-working motorists when the money thus made disappears in unaccounted expense with no improvement of roads, pot holes or parking facilities

-Check out the councils which are bankrupt, most recent one being Croydon because of their inapt financial management. Do you want to trust such party and administration who cannot look after your hard-earned money?

-Why is there no protest about 8.8% increase on GLA taxes during two years with lesser services, is the London Mayor so arrogant that having been accidently elected twice the place is run to benefit his voter base?

-Is there a positive discrimination against people of other faiths in securing Council employment? Check out the names of heads of majority departments, not least Housing or Benefits

-How are the candidates selected? Does the real shortlisting take place in a religious centre or by democratic local associations?

-Are Planning decisions divested in a Putinist autocratic way within the town halls rather than by reference to local people? The debacle of Quiet Street in Aldborough/Barkingside ward of Redbridge is a case example. Luckily, the errant councillors were fobbed off due to effective local protest.

-Are you checking Councillor’s attendance record?

-Have you noticed increased smell of weed in your street and the anti-social behaviour which goes with it?

-What about illegal parking by take-away scooters outside pizza, fast food and kebab places which deny the council of rightful revenue of parking bay?

-What are the crime statistics and how is the local public transport run?

Vote those who take you for granted with your foot, Vote tactfully and do not let the pretenders win as the answers to the foregoing will conclude which party is not aligned with you

  1. Tactfully voting often gets you nowhere in some areas. First of all tbe majority of voters do not even vote , If you want to win in areas like Newham and Redbridge you are highly likely to get elected if you stand as a Labour candidate, tbat is the reality. Some people hsve cottoned on to this while others waste time anf fail to understand this.
If there are enough of you elected then you control tbe council .
