More such events take place, more awareness the British Indians will have to realise the implications of aligning their political views and voting intentions to take an active part in politics here. Labour Party has lost it with us and it is less to do with BJP/Modi than their shameless stance and support to their vote bank traditionally opposed to Hindus. The forthcoming May elections must show this from our side to send strong message to Labour that we can’t be their vote bank as they do not represent our aspirations, way of peaceful life devoid of religious conversions, or being less grateful to the host nation.
