Rajasthan Association Uk organised MirchiBada Festival 2021 in London, the capital of the United Kingdom (UK). During the Corona period, when people were spending time at home, some migrant Rajasthani people in London were reminding Mirchi of their Rajasthan. With this festival, hundreds of migrants were reminded of Jodhpur, Nagaur, Jaipur and Pali Marwar.
The Rajasthan Association of UK (RAUK) made the Mirchibada box preparation process purely and hygienically in-house for the fest. The Association also went live on their Facebook page. Hundreds of Rajasthani families had registered to get the delivery of MirchiBada. Also prepared Sweet “boondi” for the special box of MirchiBada.
The efforts of the Association were highly appreciated during the Covid period. RAUK volunteer said that their organisation, realizing its responsibility towards the society and the country, has started providing all possible help to all such individuals, families and institutions with a selfless spirit. In this selfless service, other organizations such as Expert IFT, Mojo, etc. supported wholeheartedly.
The MirchiBada and Sweet Boondi distributed across London and its surrounding cities Oxford, Cambridge, Swindon, Slough, Windsor, Colchester, Kent and Croydon were full of love.
Ajay Agarwal, Digpal Singh Rathore, Harinder Singh Jodha, Rajiv Khichad, Anubhav Chaudhary, Ravi, Kuldeep Shekhawat, Alok Sharma, Dilip Pungliya, Sohan Chaudhary, Ram Prakash Soni, Srishti Bhati and Srishti Aggarwal successfully distributed the box of happiness to 500 plus families. The number is double from last year. Along with this, boxes were also delivered to some charitable organizations.

The RAUK prepared and distributed more than 4,000 food tiffins and about 400 ration items – 20 kg of flour-lentils, rice, pasta, potatoes, bags of onions, biscuits and spices to the needy during the Corona period. Most of them were students. To keep people engaged, live shows of Rajasthani artists, poets, singers and writers were started on Rajasthan Facebook and YouTube page. Regular online sessions in Sanskrit, Hindi and Rajasthani language were also being run for Rajasthani children.
