Sewa International has been involved in the response to the coronavirus pandemic since early March. To build a community response to the COVID-19 crisis, Sewa International has developed a six-pronged approach to deliver needed services.
With the generous support from all, Sewa successfully operationalized COVID-19 non-medical helplines, and streamlined the supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) to healthcare workers and other essential personnel. Sewa also supported international students by making provisions for food and shelter; answering travel related queries; providing case management for individuals and families requiring long term assistance; and conducting periodic webinars with physicians, therapists, immigration attorneys, and other professionals. We also supported and helped protect vulnerable populations by delivering essentials like food, groceries, medicines, etc.
The COVID-19 pandemic that has spread across the US with hundreds of thousands testing positive and hundreds dying daily we find that it is imperative to channel our resources and stand with each other in solidarity. We humbly request that you join us in our collective effort. Donate to Sewa International to Serve the Needy and Aid the Unreached.
