NCB official recover drugs from filmmaker Firoz Nadiadwala’s residence

Bollywood producer, Firoz Nadiad Wala house was raided by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Sunday in connection to a drugs case. While the filmmaker and his wife are being interrogated by the agency, an NCB official has confirmed recovering drugs from Firoz Nadiad Wala’s residence.

When contacted, Sameer Wankhede of NCB confirmed the news and said, “On Saturday, we conducted a major strike in Western Mumbai and Navi Mumbai where we recovered ganja in commercial quantity, Mephedrone and other different drugs. We also intercepted five peddlers and based on that we conducted and recovered some drugs today morning from his house which was supposed to be part of the same seizure.”

While Nadiad Wala is at presently being questioned at the NCB office in Mumbai, further investigation in the case is still going on. Meanwhile, the special NDPS court in Mumbai on Saturday adjourned actress Deepika Padukone’s former manager Karishma Prakash’s bail plea in connection to the alleged drugs case to November 10.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Firoz Nadiad Wala has produced several blockbusters like ‘Welcome’, ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, ‘Awara Pagal Deewana’ and others.(E_Times)

  1. It is a matter of great concern that Indian Government is after the innocent people who are taking drugs and are victims of drugs. If the Indian Government is really interested to remove drugs taking then only way is to arrest the people at top level who are selling the drugs and making the people to suffer. For this job you need honest officials in India to do this job . Do we have Honest people in India ?.

  2. IN answer to the former ridiculous comment yes there are honest people in India who are now taking steps to break the stranglehold of drug mafia and bad money on Bollywood. Sitting here and hurling insults at fellow countrymen reflects one’s own character. Even in the UK they go after small time drug pushers Dow’s that make the Met Police dishonest? In fact more such raids mean more of the villains higher up supply chain will be caught and it only happened during Modi Raj
