Jaipur: Rajasthan Association the UK and Braveheart Soldier Foundation organised a virtual talk show ‘RANBANKURE’ on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas on Sunday. Brig.Karan Singh Rathore (Retd.), Director Sainik Kalyan Board, Rajasthan; KargilHero NK. Digender Kumar, MVC along with 1971 War veterans Honorary Capt. NathuSingh and Honorary Capt. Dalpat Singh addressed the Indian Diaspora around the world. The session started with paying tribute to our fallen heroes of the Kargil war.
While Addressing the conference, Brig. Rathore shared how Rajasthan State Govt. has been committed towards the cause of Ex Soldiers and their families. He also shared his ideas on how Indian Diaspora can be part of such a noble cause of looking after our national Heroes.
N.K.Digendra Kumar shared the saga of his Battalion 2nd Rajputana Rifles, during Kargil war and his valour deeds during capturing totalling for which he was awarded Nation’s Second-Highest Gallantry Award, Mahavir Chakra.
The program started with a video composed by the school student and young volunteer of RAUK Pradyuman Choudhary. Video highlighted memories of soldier combats.
Whole session was unique in the sense that it has also invited unsung Heroes of 1971 war Honorary Capt. Dalpat Singh and Honorary Capt. Dalpat Singh and honorary Capt. Dalpat Singh and Honorary Capt. Nathu Singh. They also shared details of the fierce battle that took place in enemy land in which Pakistan’s 8independent Armoured brigade was destroyed. Hony. Capt. Nathu Singh fondly recalled the memory of his tank commander 2nd Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal, his prowess and sacrifice for which he was awarded Paramvir Chakra. Addressing the audience, Anuj Sharma, Founder, Braveheart Soldier Foundation shared how effectively ordinary citizen can be part of the cause-related to Ex-serviceman community. During the programme, Mr Umesh Biyani, Managing Director, Cosmo Electro Industries Pvt. Ltd. announced to donate essential items worth fifty thousand rupees to war widow hostel, Jodhpur. Mrs Mamta Rathore moderated the programme, and other presenters who assisted program were Sanjay Punglia, Jodhpur and RAUK volunteers Mr Ramprakash Sonee, Mr Ajay Agarwal, Alok Ji Sharma, and Naresh Ji Naruka.

There must so many such associations in the UK who uphold the bravery and remember those who fell in fighting the enemy. Kargil has changed not only the Indian but Indian diaspora’s outlook towards our Jawans. Every soldier sacrificing their life for the protection of Indian territories deserves accolade and prayers as because of them as proved in the recent Ladakh skirmishes with the Chinese we feel stable and safe
