Abundantia Entertainment, India’s premier content company focused on developing and producing progressive, insight-based and uniquely Indian stories for a global audience, will partner with ADD, a content creation and distribution company, to develop the series which had previously achieved great success with three hit seasons on Nickelodeon in Israel and has recently been commissioned for a fourth. The series will fall under Abundantia’s ‘FILTERS’ content vertical focused on creating IP in the young adult genre.

The deal was announced by Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Founder and Head of International at ADD Content and Abundantia Entertainment CEO Vikram Malhotra.

The Missing is a compelling young adult thriller, following a brother and sister who move to a small town and find out nothing is as it seems. The siblings find an unexplainable photograph and begin to doubt that they know the full story of the three teenagers from their high school died under mysterious circumstances. The Indian remake is expected to be a national hit.
