On behalf of VHP (UK), we would like to offer our prayers for eternal peace and sadgati to the 45 CRPF jawans who lost their lives tragically and in unnecessary circumstances as a result of the suicide attack  in Pulwana district of Kashmir, India. We also pray that those who were injured, recover quickly.

We offer our heartfelt and sincere  condolences to the bereaved families and pray that the Almighty gives them strength and resilience to bear this tremendous and calamitous loss with dignity and fortitude.

As British Hindus with strong links and connection of our members with India, we condemn this cowardly and brutal attack by Jaish-e-Mohammed, a terrorist organisation.

It is well reported that this organisation is based in Pakistan and therefore, we urge the British Government and Parliamentarians to place unreserved pressure upon the Pakistani Government to bring about a radical change and swift eradication of all terrorist bases operating from their country. In addition, we urge that such pressure strikes at those financing, colluding and aiding terrorist activity against India and its citizens.

Accordingly, we urge global leaders on behalf of their respective countries, to stand in solidarity at this time and echo the sentiments above, by way of doing whatever they can in stopping international terrorism.

In mark of remembrance, all our centres nationally will be offering prayers and condolences this weekend.

  1. It is right that the Indian diaspora in the UK and all who have witnessed the sad news of our Jawans kiiled by the cowardly terrorists remember the sacrifice and VHP UK have shown this through their homage reported in Eshadoot. We are angry but restrained as Modiji says the army has now got full freedom to deal with this veremin in the society who think that such act will destabilise India in the wake of the elections. The Indian media as usual tries to desect what, why and how and listening to one retired Army general answering a question as to how the explosive laden car was allowed to travel on the Highway-he replied it was down to Mehbooba Mufti’s government who campainged for free movement of civilans hence due check wasn’t carried out. Also there is no doubt that the Pakistan based terror group are aided by other foreign elements to carry out the attack which has more in common to a roadside in Kabul or Mosul. May God give the departed’s family strength to survive their sudden loss and may their souls rest in peace. Jai Hind Jai Bharatmata
