Navjot Singh Sidhu has been asked to leave The Kapil Sharma Show following his comments on the Pulwama terror attack. He will be replaced by Archana Puran Singh on the show.
After receiving backlash from opponents and social media for his statement on Pulwama attack, now Navjot Singh Sidhu has to step down from The Kapil Sharma Show. The channel (Sony TV) has asked him to leave the show and he will be replaced by Archana Puran Singh.
A source close to the channel told Indian Express that, “His remarks have not been taken kindly by most. Also, the channel and the show was getting dragged into the unwanted controversy. This is when the team amicably decided that Navjot make a distance from the show. The team has already shot a couple of episodes with Archana.”

It was about time this big mouth and wannabe cricketer politician was stopped from undue media exposure. In line with Pakistan loving Indians this is another terrorist apologist and quite rightly so is not fit to appear in a popular show. This is similar to what the current Mayor of London said after the London Bridge attack, having received votes from the inner city brethren rather than true socialists. He never once referred to the Muslim radicals who carried out the mindless attack on innocent civilians as ‘terrorists’ or dared to say few words of advice for his community who are largely responsible for terror attacks in London. To think that Labour Party has such people representing their political ambitions to form a government is beyond me.
