Faizabad is now Ayodhya:CM Yogi announces during Diwali celebrations
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath announces renaming of Faizabad as Ayodhya.
” We should not limit our gods to mere chants and slogans”, says Yogi Adityanath.”People were scared of using the name of Ayodhya, but today Ayodhya is set to regain its glory as its roads are being cleaned and lots of schemes are on. It is PM Modi who has changed people’s perception about Ayodhya.” he added
Talking about the Deepotsav, which harks back to “the age of Ram Rajya”, CM Yogi enumerates several schemes such as Mudra, Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushmaan Bharat and Ujjwala that (Ram Rajya) has been brought back by PM Modi.
We want to build Ram ki Paidi just like that in Haridwar, says CM. “There will be a new medical college to be named after Rajrishi Dashrath. The new airport we are building here is to be named after Lord Ram,” says Yogi.
Roars of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ rend the air as the CM addresses the people of UP. He welcomes the governors of UP and Bihar and state minister for foreign VK Singh. Yogi greets saints amid chant of “Yogiji ek kaam karo, (Ram) mandir ka nirman karo”
