In most of his films so far, Amitabh Bachchan has always been seen riding some of the coolest vehicles. In Sholay, we saw him riding a quirky bike, in Don a Mustang and in Piku he was seen cycling. In the film 102 Not Out, the actor will be seen taking a rickshaw ride.
For a scene in the film, the actor was required to take public transport from one location to another. And being the sport that he is, he immediately hopped into the rickshaw and did the shoot. Even though there was a crowd that had gathered to watch the actor shoot, the crew made sure that the shoot wasn’t disrupted and the fans who had come to see the megastar got a glimpse and were also not disappointed.
Speaking about this, director Umesh Shukla says, “At first we were hesitant as the shape of a rickshaw is quite small and we wondered if Mr Bachchan would be comfortable given his tall stature and 6’2 height. However, when we conveyed this to him, he insisted on travelling in the rickshaw and was quite enthusiastic too, reliving his young days! In fact the entire day we shot in the rickshaw.”Talking about the same, director Umesh Shukla says, “At first we were hesitant as the shape of a rickshaw is quite small and we wondered if Mr Bachchan would be comfortable given his tall stature and 6’2 height. Another great film to watch out for. Big B never ceases to amaze us and quite rightly so very apt role for this Father & Son story. Its about time big actors play ordinary roles devoid of violence and shall I add, more films produced without any Khans. I wish him well and Randhir Kapoor who will definitely compliment the experience
Sorry I mean Rishi Kapoor of course
