Kidambi Srikanth came out with a brilliant performance to defeat reigning Olympic champion Chen Long of China in the men’s singles final and win the $750,000 Australian Open Super series title in Sydney on Sunday.
The 24-year-old took just 46 minutes to beat the former World No.1 22-20, 21-16 at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre. Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth clinched his second successive Super series title in a span of eight days with a brilliant straight-game triumph.
