The 62nd Filmfare Awards ceremony is going to be held on 14 January 2017 for movies in 2016. The sponsor for this program is Reliance Jio. For these awards, Filmfare has nominated at least 4 Pakistani artists – one actor and 3 singers. The actor Fawad Khan is nominated for Best Supporting Role. It is appalling to see that Pakistani artists are being nominated for Indian movie awards when Pakistani Army and jihadi terrorists are killing innocent Indians and our army jawans.
Now it is duty of all patriots to protest against such anti-national act by Filmfare and Reliance Jio. Protests at:

The Filmfare awards nominations are just out. A lot of eyebrows have shot up as at least three Pakistani names are part of the list. Fawad Khan, for his performance in Shakun Batra’s Kapoor & Sons, and two singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam have been short-listed. All richly deserved. But isn’t the honour shamefully ill-timed? Also, a little silly given that the actors are currently banned from working in the country. Nor are they likely to arrive to collect the awards if they do win. As per reports in Dawn Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch has been nominated in the Best Playback Singer (Female) category.
A prominent filmmaker, whose films have got a staggering number of awards in the past, says he will neither attend nor accept any awards at a function where Pakistani artistes are welcome. “It’s a matter of self-respect. We are not welcome in Pakistan. They brutally kill and maim our soldiers. And we behave as if our cinema can’t do without their artistes,” says the filmmaker.
Says BJP spokesperson Shaina NC, “Relations with Pakistan have deteriorated to such an extent that there is a move now to declare Pakistan a terror state on an international level. Given the current crisis, I don’t think we can have Pakistani artistes coming here.”
Filmfare was also in news for not nominating Akshay Kumar for his performance in Airlift. Among the actors who have been nominated in the category of ‘Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male)’ there are names like, Aamir Khan (Dangal), Amitabh Bachchan (Pink), Ranbir Kapoor (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil), Salman Khan (Sultan), Shah Rukh Khan (Fan), Shahid Kapoor (Udta Punjab), Sushant Singh Rajput (MS Dhoni: The Untold Story). Enraged at the fact that Akshay hasn’t been nominated in what is deemed to be one of the most coveted awards, fans took to social media and started calling it “paid”.

I agree with you and have sent email to protest.
It is simply sheer stupidity to nominate any Pakistani artist for an award India.
It is beyond our imagination that some Indians are so stupid, so senseless that their action
is degrading and disgusting.
Stop this Non sense.
Indian Film industry drastically has been financed by anti national elements and there are very influential persons who control this. Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher are the very few who have shown some guts to speak up for the nation, the very reason they are being ignored. Time will come soon when their( anti nationals) allegiance and financial activities are challenged.
