Indian cricketer Ishant Sharma is all set to tie the knot with basketball player Pratima Singh on 9 December.
Their engagement ceremony was held on 19 June and the marriage is expected to be on 9 December, said sources.
The Indian pacer is going to get married at a New Delhi hotel, according to a report by Mumbai Mirror.
Pratima Singh is a cager hailing from Varanasi and had represented the Indian Basketball team at various International events including Asian Games and is also the former captain of the Indian women’s basketball team.
Famous as ‘Singh Sisters’ in the country’s basketball fraternity, Pratima is the youngest among five sisters.
All her sisters too are a Basketball player and they had also played basketball at National and International levels. The duo were spotted at the Dashashwamedh ghat at Varanasi on Tuseday attending the Ganga Aarti event.
Ishant, who missed the New Zealand Test series due to chikungunya, has returned to the squad for the Test series against England. After recovering from it, he played for Delhi in the Ranji Trophy against Karnataka and Odisha and picked up five wickets in three innings.
